From Past to Present: 180 Owners Return to Brooklands

It’s quite remarkable to discover that 65 per cent of all Rolls-Royce motor cars ever made are still on the road today.  It’s a testament to the brand’s quality, longevity, and iconic design. Co-founder Henry Royce left specific instructions to be followed: “Strive for perfection in everything you do. Take the best and make it better. “The company, synonymous with engineering excellence and opulence, has continued with this mantra, and the Spirit of Ecstasy, the mascot that adorns the distinctive grill, is recognised all over the world. So, it may come as a surprise to some to know that Rolls-Royce vehicles are now a wholly owned subsidiary of BMW!

Does it matter a jot? No! The brand lives on, with the largest number of new cars now sold in America and China following in second place, despite all the new “Donald “tariffs.

That’s why we could all learn something about creating a brand.  If you can afford it, don’t take shortcuts; make something that will last and provide a legacy. Make it unique, offering your customers something they cannot buy anywhere else.  Then you too can celebrate in years to come like the Offonardos at Rolls-Royce who have been raising a glass to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the birth of the Silver Shadow – the best-selling model. Around 180 owners gathered at the legendary Brooklands Racetrack in Surrey at the weekend, setting a world record for the largest number of Silver Shadows ever gathered.

Now it’s time for you to drive that extra mile and create a piece of your own history – Buckle up and enjoy the ride cheers!
